Submitting your
resume to Fine Dining Jobs
is a great move. But sometimes you may want to try some direct marketing of
your fine dining skills. To help you find fine dining restaurants and establishments we
have amassed a collection of Links that you may explore to find your own
job.
, Distinguished Restaurants of North America (click on the
logo to the left) is a restaurant award system that publishes their list
of awarded restaurants which you can also check out at their Web
Site. But some of the restaurants are not so distinguished... The
Wine Spectator
has three sets of awards and publishes lists of restaurants that have
received them at the following link. You can then examine to see if
a restaurant you are interested in has a DiRoNA award AND a Wine spectator
award. If the answer is yes, you have a good bet that this is a fine
dining establishment which you want to call about openings.
Zagat.com has Top Lists and ratings for food and service by
major metropolitan area. You have to be a little careful here since the
ratings are compiled from votes by the general public.
You can try searching The Chaine des Rotisseurs
Affiliates
links but you can't get a complete list,
you have to go state by state. The list will include more than hotel and stand
alone restaurants.
Restaurant writers associations are another source. For example the Southern
California Restaurant writers have a web site where you can find information
about fine dining restaurants.
City Guides: each metropolitan city has one or more competing city
guides which list information about restaurants.
www.FineDining.com a web site listing Americas most
expensive restaurants
AAA Travel guides and web site - you must be a
member to get these but if
you examine AAA 4 Diamond and 5 Diamond rated hotels,
most but not all will have a fine dining establishment.
Check our Fine dining Links
pages for more ideas.
And of course don't forget to apply here:
